We will be changing strategy going forward with regards to sale product. This includes both custom and RTW products.
- Currently, when a fabric or RTW item goes on sale in a Summer Event in June or a Winter Event in December, sale fabrics and sale RTW items remain on sale on J.Hilburn.com after the end of the sale month for as long as inventory is not sold out.
- This can result in Stylists losing full-price sales, and it is not brand enhancing. We currently have too many sale items on our website, which dilutes our brand’s strength.
- Effective January 31, 2021, all sale products will be taken off the website and will not be available as sale products on our website until the next semi-annual sale event in June.
- Going forward, we will only have sale product on J.Hilburn.com for the sale month and possibly the next month. After that, there will be little to no sale product on J.Hilburn.com until the subsequent end of the season sale event.
Example:
- The Fall, Holiday, and Resort 2020 fashion product will go on sale for the first time during the Summer Event in June 2021 for a maximum period of two months before being removed from J.Hilburn.com.
- Any unsold product will reappear on sale on J.Hilburn.com during the Winter Sales Event in December 2021 for a maximum of two months. After that, this product will no longer be offered for sale and will no longer be available for Clients and Stylists. Any remaining inventory at that point will be liquidated.
During the periods between sale months, you can still sell the product at the sale price, if inventory is available, through the Green Room, but you will not be able to use these items in Style Boards or on J.Hilburn.com.
Important Note: At the end of January 2021, the product currently on sale is coming off J.Hilburn.com. The next time any of this product may be back on J.Hilburn.com will be in June 2021. Some of this current sale product will be liquidated and not be offered for sale going forward. We want you to know about this change, which will be happening at the end of January, if you have Clients who are more inclined to be sale buyers only or if you would like to place an order for family members. Please place these orders before the end of January.
