  • Our Purpose & Values

    OUR COMPANY PURPOSE

We provide men an effortless, personalized experience for custom-made clothing, with a Stylist, which gives men confidence and makes them look and feel great.

    OUR CORE VALUES

    Trust
We will foster a trust-based culture, where team members feel safe and secure, and where they have clarity on vision and direction. Trust brings out the best in people and inspires creativity, innovation and meaningful work. As Stephen Covey wrote, “Trust is equal parts character and competence…You can look at any leadership failure, and it’s always a failure of one or the other.”

    Excellence
We strive for greatness in everything we do as we differentiate, innovate and go above and beyond to execute every product, interaction and decision with excellence. This sometimes means getting gritty, speaking up and being a change agent. This also means that as we demand excellence, we hold ourselves accountable when we don’t always succeed, and we learn and improve at every turn.

    Win-Win
We are committed to creatively crafting mutually beneficial relationships that result in a win for all stakeholders—Clients, Stylists, Employees and Vendors. Innovative thinking, resourcefulness and problem-solving will create the outcomes that result in success for everyone who contributes to our business.

    Integrity
We will be honest and consistent in our actions, methods, expectations and outcomes. The true definition of integrity is adherence to moral and ethical principles. As leaders, we recognize the impact that we have on others. We are conscious of how our behavior and words impact those around us, both intentionally and unintentionally. Integrity requires humility, authenticity and self-awareness as we interact with others.

    Communication
We are devoted to clear, transparent, thoughtful and reliable communication that is consistent and direct. We understand that communication should come in different forms depending on the audience, and that communication is always a two-way street, which involves the important art of listening. We should seek first to understand and always have positive intent.

    Teamwork
We are a J.Hilburn family and we are in this together. We respect the contributions of others—no matter the title or role—and shoulder to shoulder we work to execute with excellence. Teamwork means we are “all in.” We are accountable to, and supportive of, each other in every task, from start to finish.

    Responsibility
We have a responsibility to do the right thing in every aspect of our business. We’re committed to providing a quality, differentiated experience for our Clients, a thriving workplace for our Stylists and Employees, and a creative partnership with our Vendors. We are committed to environmental sustainability and we prioritize giving back to our communities.

    Love Life
We are passionate about our work as well as our personal lives, and we foster continuous learning and self-improvement. We encourage an environment of fun, personal well-being and enjoying all aspects of living life to the fullest. Was Monet working or playing when he was painting the Water Lilies? He was doing what he loved…and so are we!

  • New Mini Fabric Swatch Service for Clients

We are excited to inform you of a new Client service with the introduction of the J.Hilburn Mini Swatch Service on JHilburn.com. Our objective for this service is to assist the Client with the purchasing decision, as sometimes a Client would like to see a fabric prior to purchasing. The Client can now browse through our collection of full-price suiting and sportcoat fabrics on JHilburn.com and click “Order Fabric Swatch” to start the ordering process. The Client completes the swatch selection on the Shopping Bag screen, and the swatch order is sent directly to the Client from our Texas warehouse facility.

We will be enclosing a J.Hilburn logo insert card in the envelope instructing the Client to reach out to his J.Hilburn Stylist to place his order or to contact Customer Care for further assistance.

Highlights of the new Mini Fabric Swatch Service:

    • Mini fabric swatches are for full-price suits and sportscoats only
    • Client has ability to see the fabric prior to purchasing
    • Can provide Clients a physical visual of a potential garment for higher price point items
    • Mini fabric swatch size is 3” x 2” and labeled with SKU and description on back of fabric swatch
    • Allows Stylists to provide additional swatch service direct to the Client when selling in person, virtually or digitally
    • Client must order a minimum of 3 swatches at $3.00 and a maximum of 5 swatches at $5.00
    • Per-swatch unit price is $1.00
    • Only 1 swatch per fabric style can be ordered
    • Complimentary free shipping for the Client with mini fabric swatch order
    • Stylist commission is not available on mini swatch fabric orders

    How does it work?

A Client can place an order for a J.Hilburn Mini Swatch by viewing our collection of full-price custom suiting and sportcoat fabrics on JHilburn.com and selecting which fabrics he would like to sample. The Client will click “Order Fabric Swatch” on the right side of the product page on .com, which will allow the Client to save the item in his Shopping Bag until the order is complete.

Once the Client order is complete on .com, the fabric swatch order is processed in our Texas warehouse. The warehouse ships the mini fabric swatch order to the client in a J.Hilburn logo envelope enclosed with a J.Hilburn insert card explaining what they received along with the mini fabric swatches for review.

Please review the following screen shots and J.Hilburn logo insert card to familiarize yourself with this new service. We strive to improve our Client purchasing experience whether he is shopping in person, virtually with a Stylist or digitally on his own, and we feel this is a great tool to help you convert the sale when a Client may be hesitant about the purchase or simply in need of a physical sample to help him decide.
