How to order Pull- On Pants

Under the Chino/Short heading on your Client’s measurement and fit page select the Add Profile button. You will be prompted to select either a Chino or a Pull-on pant style.

The T.A.P.E quiz for Pull-On Pants automatically opens when creating a new profile. The single question concerns rise preference. All other adjustments are automatically recommended by T.A.P.E

Due to the high-stretch nature of our Pull-on Pant fabrics T.A.P.E. will make the same fit recommendations for all Clients regardless of their fit preference.

    • Body fit +2
    • Outseam 1″ shorter than core measurements
    • -2 leg opening adjustment

The resulting pant will have a trim fit and shorter length replicating the intended fit pictured in the key looks.

  • Tailored Outerwear Profile

    Creating a Tailored Outerwear Profile

When creating a Tailored Outerwear Profile you will be prompted to select if Client will be wearing the outerwear Over a Sportcoat or Never Over a Sportcoat

If Client selects Over a Sportcoat and a sportcoat history exists, the sportcoat history will be displayed and Stylist will be able to select which sportcoat to base the outerwear fit on.

If the Client Selects Over a Sportcoat and an order history does not exist the stylist will be prompted to answer the T.A.P.E™ preference quiz questions for Tailored Outerwear.

If Client selects the Never Over a Sportcoat option he will be prompted to answer the Tailored outerwear T.A.P.E™  preference quiz. T.A.P.E™ will recommend the correct product profile based on his preference answers.

    • Length Tool tip provides finished length for all styles.

    Tailored Outerwear FAQ

The new Tailored Outwear program offers different adjustments than the previous Tailored Outerwear program. For this reason we removed all existing Tailored Outerwear profiles. A Client’s previous history is available on his tear sheet for reference.

Tailored Outerwear will now be produced with sleeve outseam measurements to align with all other categories.

    • If the Client choses Over a Sportcoat his recommended Tailored Outersleeve outseam will be 0.50” longer than the confirmed Sportcoat outseam.
    • If the Client chooses Over a Sportcoat and does not have an order history T.A.P.E.™ recommends an outseam 0.75” shorter than the core measurement sleeve length.
    • If the Client choose Never Over a Sportcoat ,  T.A.P.E.™ recommends a outseam 0.75” shorter than the core measurement sleeve length.

  • Custom Belt Fit

J.Hilburn Custom Belts are handcrafted in Texas one at a time, from fine Italian calf leather in a range of colors. A correctly fitted belt will close comfortably for your client at the middle hole. This fit will allow him to shift the belt larger or smaller if his waist size changes. We recommend ordering custom belts 2″ over the Client’s trouser waist to achieve the best fit.  Our woven belts are sized identically to our flat belts and we recommend ordering both at the same sizing.

If your client has a belt that fits him well, measure from the hole which he uses the most to the end of the leather where the buckle is attached. This will be your ordered measurement.

  • How to Measure Custom Belts

J.Hilburn Custom Belts are handcrafted in Texas one at a time, from fine Italian calf leather in a range of colors. The middle hole of the belt will fall at the ordered measurement with approximately 6″ of tail extending beyond the hole.  To measure the finished belt, start at the point where the buckle meets the leather, hold the tape measure flat and measure to the middle hole. This measurement will match the ordered belt size. Past the middle hole there will be an additional 6”-7″ of leather. For example a size 35 belt will measure 35” to the middle hole and 41” to the end of the leather.
