    NEW THIS WEEK

    A new version of the Stylist App is live with updates to make your experience smoother.

    What’s New:

    1. Improved Main Navigation

     The main menu has been reorganized for quicker access to key features and to set the stage for new functionality coming in October. 

    2. Enhanced Product Detail Screens with Additional Imagery

    Some product pages now include more images, like alternate angles, styling ideas, and lifestyle shots (similar to jhilburn.com). This makes it easier to show clients different ways to wear the product. Note: not all products will have extra images.

    3. Support for iPadOS 26

     The Stylist App is now fully compatible with iPadOS 26, delivering improved performance, security, and a seamless experience with Apple’s latest features. 

    4. Minor Improvements & Bug Fixes

     We’ve made performance upgrades and resolved reported issues to give you a smoother, more reliable experience. 

    Be sure to update to the latest version of the J.Hilburn Stylist App in the Apple App Store.

    We’re pleased to share an important update following our earlier communication. After careful review, we have landed on a price increase of just over 10%, a much better outcome than the initial estimate of 20%. This is great news, and it reflects our commitment to balancing the health of the business with your ability to drive sales and deliver value to clients.

    As a reminder, these price increases took effect starting Monday, September 22nd, at 8:00 AM CST. 

    To help you prepare for conversations about pricing changes with Clients, we’ve prepared some scripting/talking points to shift the conversation from cost to value.

    Be ready to take notes. The call will be recorded and available as soon as possible. 

    Attending this call is the best way to equip yourself with essential product knowledge about the new Collection so you can wow your Clients this Winter. 

    The 2025 Winter Collection will be available to sell on Tuesday, October 14th.

    We want to inform you that the $149 enrollment option for New Stylists will be discontinued effective Tuesday, September 30, 2025. 

    This change is designed to streamline operations, simplify enrollment for both New Stylists and Mentors, and ensure every New Stylist begins with the full set of tools needed to succeed. 

    Starting Wednesday, October 1, 2025: 

    • New Stylists may enroll with either the $500 New Stylist Kit or the $199 Digital Kit. 
    • The full kit cost will be due at enrollment. 
    • Kits will ship as a complete package via ground service. 
    • The $500 Kit includes: Training & Onboarding Guide, measurement tools, seven (7) x $99 shirt swatches, essential and seasonal swatches, and all required components.

    Friendly reminder to take advantage of the Personal Sales Volume Bonus (PSVB), a great way to reward your hard work and help you grow your earnings! From April 2025 through September 2025, Stylists can earn up to an additional 3.1% bonus on their personal monthly sales volume.

    The program begins at the Circle of Excellence (COE) Gold level, starting at $12,000 in monthly sales, and includes tiered bonus opportunities:

    • Earn a $150 bonus when you reach COE Gold ($12K monthly PSV).
    • For every additional $4,000 in Personal Sales Volume, you’ll earn an extra $150 bonus—all the way up to 3X Platinum COE ($48K).

    This 6-month test program reflects our commitment to put more money in your pocket and recognize your personal sales success.

    It has come to our attention that some of you may have received suspicious emails recently. These emails are a form of phishing—a malicious attempt by cybercriminals to deceive you into revealing personal information or clicking on harmful links.

    What is Phishing?
    Phishing emails often appear to come from legitimate sources, such as well-known companies or even colleagues, but they are designed to trick you. They may ask you to click on a link, download an attachment, or provide sensitive information.

    How to Protect Yourself:

    • Do Not Click on Links or Open Attachments from unknown or unexpected senders.
    • Verify the Sender’s Email Address carefully; phishing emails often use addresses that look similar to official ones but may have small differences.
    • Look for Red Flags such as urgent language, poor spelling, or unusual requests.
    • When in Doubt, Don’t Respond. If something doesn’t seem right, reach out to us directly before taking any action.

    Stylists have recently reported receiving emails that appear to be a request from J.Hilburn to review blocked/quarantined emails. These are phishing emails. Please do not click links in these emails. Here is an example of a recent phishing email:

    To access the new content, simply open the School of Style from the Stylist App homepage and head to the Learning Library.

    For the Fall 2025 season, we’ve added more than 80 additional social media assets to our Social Content Library to help you engage Clients online.

  • Weekly Update – September 12, 2025

    NEW THIS WEEK

    We will be implementing a price increase effective Monday, September 22. While the final number has not yet been confirmed, the increases are being driven primarily by tariffs, which could be as high as 20%.

    You may recall the communication we shared back in April regarding a price increase tied to the first round of tariffs. Unfortunately, this second round of tariffs has resulted in further cost increases. These new costs have been in effect since August 7. However, we’ve made a conscious decision to absorb them entirely for the time being. This is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting you and doing what’s right for our clients while we evaluate how best to manage and minimize impact going forward.

    That said, we want to emphasize that we are being very intentional in how this is approached. Specifically, we are:

    • Reviewing every category to identify where we can minimize the increase.
    • Exploring operational efficiencies to help offset costs wherever possible.
    • Preparing clear messaging and tools so you can feel confident explaining the value we deliver and why this step is essential.

    In the meantime, this creates a strong opportunity to maximize momentum around our Fall launch. Encouraging clients to place orders before September 22 allows them to secure current pricing, which can be a powerful motivator in sales conversations.

    We understand pricing changes can feel challenging, which is why we’ll be rolling out support materials, training, and talking points in the coming week to ensure you are fully equipped.

    Our priority remains the same: to stay competitive, deliver exceptional quality and service, and protect the long-term health of the business. These changes are necessary to achieve that, and we are committed to working alongside you through the transition.

    We know how important it is for you to provide a seamless experience to your Clients, and we’ve been working diligently behind the scenes to make sure our shipping process supports that. After studying available options, we are moving to a multi-carrier approach that strengthens our ability to deliver reliably.

    As of Tuesday, August 26th, all shipments from Vietnam (VTG) will ship via FedEx, while suiting and outerwear will continue shipping with UPS. By partnering with both carriers, we are ensuring that your Clients receive their orders as quickly as possible—especially as new tariff regulations and the elimination of de minimis change the way packages move through customs.

    We also want to prepare you for a small difference in how tracking looks with FedEx. You may see “Label Created” until the package clears U.S. customs, at which point live tracking will appear.

    Although new customs audit requirements have slowed clearance times for all carriers, our multi-carrier strategy ensures we are doing everything possible to minimize delays. We are in constant communication with both UPS and FedEx to monitor packages daily, making sure your Clients’ orders remain a top priority.

    We’re very pleased to announce that the Stylist App version 1.10.0 is available as of August 26th. This new version of the App introduces several enhancements to simplify your workflow:

    Friendly reminder to take advantage of the Personal Sales Volume Bonus (PSVB), a great way to reward your hard work and help you grow your earnings! From April 2025 through September 2025, Stylists can earn up to an additional 3.1% bonus on their personal monthly sales volume.

    The program begins at the Circle of Excellence (COE) Gold level, starting at $12,000 in monthly sales, and includes tiered bonus opportunities:

    • Earn a $150 bonus when you reach COE Gold ($12K monthly PSV).
    • For every additional $4,000 in Personal Sales Volume, you’ll earn an extra $150 bonus—all the way up to 3X Platinum COE ($48K).

    This 6-month test program reflects our commitment to put more money in your pocket and recognize your personal sales success.

    As part of our ongoing strategy to keep our site fresh and focused, on September 16, we will be removing slow-selling items primarily from Spring 2024, Fall 2023, and earlier seasons.
