  • Weekly Update – June 27, 2025

    NEW THIS WEEK

    To help you as you close out the month of June, your Stylist Success Team will be available on Monday, June 30th from 8:30AM-8:00PM CST. There’s still time to earn a PSVB bonus for June! Let’s finish the month strong!

    The Home Office will be closed on Friday, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day. The Stylist Success Team will resume with regular hours on Saturday, July 5th, from 8:30 am – 12 pm CST.  

    If you need assistance during the July 4th holiday, please utilize JESSI in the Stylist App, or email stylistcare@jhilburn.com or fitadvice@jhilburn.com. Email inquiries will be returned when business resumes on July 5th.

Delivery is expected in early August to align with the launch of the season.

    We are pleased to announce that we have introduced two significant updates to our JH Fit program. The following changes went into effect June 17th:

    Expansion of the JH Fit Size Range

    Previously available in sizes 34-51, the JH Fit jacket will now be extended to size 60. Since the introduction of sizes 50 and 51 in April 2023, feedback has been excellent, prompting us to further expand our size offering. The JH Fit Uniblock extended sizing features a narrower shoulder, slimmer sleeve, smaller armhole, and shorter length compared to our current Extended Fit jacket. Additionally, it incorporates an adjustable shoulder point-to-point measurement, ensuring a more refined fit.

    Enhanced Waist and Hip Adjustments

    To provide greater versatility, we have increased the waist and hip adjustment range from ±2 to ±3. This refinement enables a superior fit for a wider range of body types, accommodating both individuals with a larger midsection and those with a tapered waist who do not require the broader shoulders of our Athletic Fit sportcoat.

    With these enhancements, our Studio Suiting is now more inclusive than ever, ensuring an exceptional fit for clients of all sizes. We look forward to offering these improvements and enhancing your Client’s J.Hilburn experience.

    Our next Tips From the Top is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1st at 11:00 AM CST immediately following the All-Stylist call at 10:30 AM CST. 

    NOTE: There will not be a Tips From the Top meeting on Tuesday, June 17th, so that we can focus on the New Arrivals launch kick off call on June 16th and the Culture of Textiles call on June 18th. We will resume our regular Tips From the Top cadence in July.

    Each Tips From The Top session features an experienced Stylist from the field who will share the strategies and steps that have led to their success.

    We’ve created a handy one-page document where you will find details on fabrics, linings, and buttons that are currently unavailable and status updates for replenishment. This is a quick way for you to check in on our New Fabric Status Classifications that we announced last week. You will see these classifications repeated below for your easy reference. Please be sure to check the status of items on this list before offering them to your Clients. Click the link below to view the document:

    We understand how frustrating it is for you to place a Client’s order and then discover that it can’t be fulfilled because the fabric, lining, or trims are out of stock. This isn’t the 5-star service we wish to provide to you and your Client.

    To ensure your order can indeed be made, we are implementing new fabric status classifications and rules. This is to avoid order delays that cause you and your Client frustration, decreased confidence, and overall dissatisfaction with the order.

    To ensure that your order can be made, we’re making the following changes in our order process workflow:

    Effective Thursday, May 22, you will be able to place orders only for fabrics that are in stock.

    To enable this to happen, we have classified all fabrics as being: 

    • In Stock: available at the Factory, and ORDERS ARE ALLOWED
    • Low Quantity: available but limited stock at the Factory, and ORDERS ARE ALLOWED. Replenishment may be on the way, but current inventory is low.
    • Temporarily Out of Stock: not available at the Factory, and ORDERS ARE NOT ALLOWED. However, there is an estimated time of arrival (ETA) of replenishment stock.
    • Sold Out: not available at the Factory, no plan for replenishment, and ORDERS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

    These Fabric Status Classifications mean that:

    • Pre-orders will no longer be accepted; and
    • Back-orders will no longer be accepted.
    • All Pre-Ordered or Back-Ordered fabrics will now be classified as Temporarily Out of Stock.

    However, please keep Sold Out swatches, as sometimes we reissue fabrics in an upcoming season.
