    NEW THIS WEEK

    Stylist Success Team Coverage Schedule for Memorial Day Weekend
    Saturday, May 24 – 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM CST
    Monday, May 26 – Home Office Closed for Memorial Day
    Tuesday, May 27 – Normal Stylist Success Team Coverage Resumes

    The Home Office will be closed on Monday, May 26th in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. The Stylist Success Team will resume with regular business hours on Tuesday, May 27th.

    If you need assistance during the Memorial Day holiday, please utilize J.E.S.S.I. in the Stylist App, or email stylistcare@jhilburn.com or fitadvice@jhilburn.com.

    To help support you as you end the month of May, our Stylists Success Team will be available on Saturday, May 31st from 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM CST.

    Please join us for an important All-Stylist Call on Wednesday, May 28 at 12:00 PM CST for key updates on the future of the J.Hilburn By-Appointment-Only and Studio Franchise Program.

    On the call, we’ll cover:

    • The By-Appointment-Only Program (BAO) and updates for the Traditional Plan and Studio Franchise Program 

    Whether you’re currently on the Traditional Plan, the Studio Plan, a Studio Owner, or just want to stay informed, this is an important conversation to attend.

    Live question and answer sessions are scheduled on Thursday, May 29th for the following groups:

    • Studio Owners – 9 AM CST

    Note: On Wednesday, May 28th, there will be no 12:00 PM CST session for the ‘Becoming a Stylist’ call. The 7:00 pm CST session will be held as usual.

    We’re now offering a selection of socks in the Stylist Store at a special discounted price of just $5.00!

    These will make a great addition to your Client’s order, whether as a thoughtful gift or a “thank you” for their continued business.

    We understand how frustrating it is for you to place a Client’s order and then discover that it can’t be fulfilled because the fabric, lining, or trims are out of stock. This isn’t the 5-star service we wish to provide to you and your Client.

    To ensure your order can indeed be made, we are implementing new fabric status classifications and rules. This is to avoid order delays that cause you and your Client frustration, decreased confidence, and overall dissatisfaction with the order.

    To ensure that your order can be made, we’re making the following changes in our order process workflow:

    Effective Thursday, May 22, you will be able to place orders only for fabrics that are in stock.

    To enable this to happen, we have classified all fabrics as being: 

    • In Stock: available at the Factory, and ORDERS ARE ALLOWED
    • Low Quantity: available but limited stock at the Factory, and ORDERS ARE ALLOWED.
    • Temporarily Out of Stock: not available at the Factory, and ORDERS ARE NOT ALLOWED. However, there is an estimated time of arrival (ETA) of replenishment stock.
    • Sold Out: not available at the Factory, no plan for replenishment, and ORDERS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

    These Fabric Status Classifications mean that:

    • Pre-orders will no longer be accepted; and
    • Back-orders will no longer be accepted.
    • All Pre-Ordered or Back-Ordered fabrics will now be classified as Temporarily Out of Stock.

    However, please keep Sold Out swatches, as sometimes we reissue fabrics in an upcoming season.

    To further support your business, we’re introducing a new 3-day Service Level Agreement (SLA):

    If a garment cannot be produced for any reason, you’ll be notified within three business days of order placement via email and phone.

    • Example: Order placed on Friday before 5 pm CT → Notification by end of the day the following Wednesday (excluding weekends and holidays).
    • Note: The first business day is the non-weekend day following an order placed before 5 pm CT. If an order is placed after 5 pm CT, the first business day is two non-weekend days after the order is placed.

    When notified within the three-day window, your Client has the right to keep their order, change it, or cancel it.

    • If your Client chooses to keep their order, we’ll notify you of the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) of the fabric, and you can proceed to place the order then.
    • However, if there is a second delay to this order, due to any component (fabric, lining, or trims) being out of stock, the Client will receive the garment for free and with an additional $300 J.Hilburn credit toward his next order.
    • You will receive your volume and commission on the original garment value.

    If you are not notified within the 3-day notification window, you’ll still receive a notification as soon as possible. As a resolution:

    • We will offer you priority support in resolving the issue.
    • The Client gets a replacement garment of equal or lesser value for free. For example, if he ordered a jacket and it cannot be made, he can order another jacket of equal or lesser value or a different garment of equal or lesser value for free.
    • You will receive your volume and commission for the original garment value.

    MONDAY, JUNE 16TH AT 11:00 AM CST!

    We are pleased to announce that, effective May 27th, we will introduce two significant updates to our JH Fit program.

    Expansion of the JH Fit Size Range

    Previously available in sizes 34-51, the JH Fit jacket will now be extended to size 60. Since the introduction of sizes 50 and 51 in April 2023, feedback has been excellent, prompting us to further expand our size offering. The JH Fit Uniblock extended sizing features a narrower shoulder, slimmer sleeve, smaller armhole, and shorter length compared to our current Extended Fit jacket. Additionally, it incorporates an adjustable shoulder point-to-point measurement, ensuring a more refined fit.

    Enhanced Waist and Hip Adjustments

    To provide greater versatility, we have increased the waist and hip adjustment range from ±2 to ±3. This refinement enables a superior fit for a wider range of body types, accommodating both individuals with a larger midsection and those with a tapered waist who do not require the broader shoulders of our Athletic Fit sportcoat.

    With these enhancements, our Studio Suiting is now more inclusive than ever, ensuring an exceptional fit for clients of all sizes. We look forward to offering these improvements and enhancing your Client’s J.Hilburn experience.

    FAQ

    • How does this change affect my existing Clients who are happy with their fit?
      • There will be no change for existing clients. Both Extended and Extended Plus jackets are still available, allowing Clients to continue with their confirmed fit.
    • How does this change affect my new Clients?
      • All T.A.P.E. recommendations have been updated to incorporate the new extended JH fit size range and increased waist/hip adjustment.
    • What if I want to update my Client’s sportcoat profile to incorporate new sizes?
      • If you would like to update your client’s fit to incorporate the new sizes and adjustments, we recommend the following:
        • Remeasure your client and update his core measurement profile.
        • On your client’s measurement and fit page, select to Add Profile.
        • Select your Client’s fit preferences on the Sportcoat fit quiz.
        • Save the new updated Sportcoat profile created by T.A.P.E.

    Custom-Made Social Platform to Sunset

    As part of our review of the marketing tools and resources we provide, we have decided to sunset the Custom-Made Social Platform. While we’ve seen meaningful engagement from some Stylists with Custom-Made Social, overall usage has not reached a level that justifies the continued investment.

    • The platform will officially sunset on May 15, 2025

    • After this date, it will no longer be available to create or post content

    • Please download any saved content from your library before May 15
