We are pleased to announce that, effective May 27th, we will introduce two significant updates to our JH Fit program.
Expansion of the JH Fit Size Range
Previously available in sizes 34-51, the JH Fit jacket will now be extended to size 60. Since the introduction of sizes 50 and 51 in April 2023, feedback has been excellent, prompting us to further expand our size offering. The JH Fit Uniblock extended sizing features a narrower shoulder, slimmer sleeve, smaller armhole, and shorter length compared to our current Extended Fit jacket. Additionally, it incorporates an adjustable shoulder point-to-point measurement, ensuring a more refined fit.
Enhanced Waist and Hip Adjustments
To provide greater versatility, we have increased the waist and hip adjustment range from ±2 to ±3. This refinement enables a superior fit for a wider range of body types, accommodating both individuals with a larger midsection and those with a tapered waist who do not require the broader shoulders of our Athletic Fit sportcoat.
With these enhancements, our Studio Suiting is now more inclusive than ever, ensuring an exceptional fit for clients of all sizes. We look forward to offering these improvements and enhancing your Client’s J.Hilburn experience.
FAQ
- How does this change affect my existing Clients who are happy with their fit?
- There will be no change for existing clients. Both Extended and Extended Plus jackets are still available, allowing Clients to continue with their confirmed fit.
- How does this change affect my new Clients?
- All T.A.P.E. recommendations have been updated to incorporate the new extended JH fit size range and increased waist/hip adjustment.
- What if I want to update my Client’s sportcoat profile to incorporate new sizes?
- If you would like to update your client’s fit to incorporate the new sizes and adjustments, we recommend the following:
- Remeasure your client and update his core measurement profile.
- On your client’s measurement and fit page, select to Add Profile.
- Select your Client’s fit preferences on the Sportcoat fit quiz.
- Save the new updated Sportcoat profile created by T.A.P.E.
- If you would like to update your client’s fit to incorporate the new sizes and adjustments, we recommend the following:

- New Social Assets Delivered to You Directly – New social content will be sent directly to your phone via SMS text, allowing you to quickly access and share brand-approved content from your mobile device. For your convenience, new content will be posted in Stylist Central as well.
- Access to a full content library in Dropbox – A curated selection of additional branded content will be available to download through Dropbox.
- Faster Turnaround Times for Custom Assets – We are excited to have a new full-time designer dedicated exclusively to custom asset requests. In the coming weeks, we’ll share details about how to submit requests and collaborate with our new designer to bring your ideas to life.
- Social Media & Marketing Center – We’re making it easier to find the assets you need. Available in the newsroom, this is your one-stop resource for branded content and custom marketing support. You can find the Social Media & Marketing Center under “Marketing” in the Newsroom menu.
