  • New Suiting Arrivals – June 2024

Our New Suiting Collection has arrived, with custom-made options that can be worn in multiple ways. Relaunching some of our best-selling studio suiting and suiting from our first-tier pricing, this collection provides an easy way to get a first-time Client into a new suit at an incredible value.

    • The first-tier priced suiting provides a gateway from off-the-rack (OTR) to Custom-Made suiting as our pricing is comparable to department & specialty store suiting.
    • These pieces are closet multipliers as they can be worn in multiple ways.  The idea with this collection is that a suit can be styled in numerous variations, not just as a full suit, but also with denim or casual pants, a casual knit top, sneakers, hoodies, and more.
    • These suits are made from 100% wool but are lightweight, breathable, and some have a mechanical stretch that makes them ideal for year-round wear.
    • The deck for this collection contains each suit styled in multiple ways, along with the list of products featured in each look.
    • Style boards have been created for each look to help show your Client how he can style his new suit.

    3. The homepage will reflect the Summer Event
    Things to remember:

1.) Products eligible for the Summer Event

The majority of products that will be on sale will be from Fall/Winter 2023 and older. There may be a few, but not many, Essential swatches and a few slow-selling Spring 2024 swatches on sale

    2.) jhilburn.com:

The Summer Event product will be merchandised online in the Sale section of .com only (the sale product will not be displayed in the category as well).

3.) You will need to use JHilburn.com to sell Summer Event products:

You will have some fabric swatches for sale products, but most likely not all since there are previous season fabric swatches in this sale. This means that you will need to be familiar with jhilburn.com to sell Clients products that are on sale.

    4.) Quantities:

Products on sale are limited in quantity, so it is to your benefit to sell sale products as soon as possible while quantities are available. Enter your orders when you take them. Don’t wait, as supply may run out.

    5.) Work Digitally

We have seen the best success during Sale periods, when Stylists work efficiently with their time and use their digital tools – Style Boards (in New Stylist App or Green Room), Shirt & Knit Configurators, Custom-Made Social, text, email, virtual appointments, etc.

    BEST PRACTICES, & TIPS

    • Double check your work, measure twice!
    • Verify fit and measurements for Clients who have not ordered in over 1 year.
    • You want to set the expectation with your Clients that some fabrics may sell out.
    • Eliminate old profiles to minimize any mistakes.
    • Suggest your Client send the order to you vs checking out themselves so you can review the order for best results.
    • Use the favorites section of .com to work with your Clients virtually.
    • Identify which of your Clients likes to take advantage of our “sale” events and send them a text to notify them that the Private Event has begun.

    STRATEGIES

    • Have an upsell item/strategy.  This is a great time to use add-on items:  belts, sock, scarves, etc., to build your order value.
    • Use a blended approach.  Blending in full prices items will increase your earnings.  Add a full price item onto the style board you suggest for them.  Give them Style Boards so they “buy the look”.
    • Value proposition: Show them how to extend their wardrobe. Example:  2 pants, 2 shirts & 2 knits will mix & match to create X number of looks.
    • If you are a New Stylist: build a list of 25 to reach out to….think of guys who might be more price-sensitive.
    • TEXT first thing in the morning: “Hi XXX, my Private Summer Event launches today.  As one of my VIP Clients, I wanted to offer it to you first.  It runs from June 4–June 10 and it is up to 40% off.  Do you want in??  Let me know ASAP so I can get you the details.”
    • A few days later, send another text to those that haven’t responded yet:  “Hi XXX, I didn’t want you to miss out.  The Summer Event goes public on Tuesday.  Do you want in before word is out to everyone?  I can help you via text, email, zoom, or style boards.”
    • Make it easy for your Clients. If you have time, put some things in your Clients’ favorites (both sale and full price) and send them a link to their closet.

Download the list of SKUs here for the Summer Event:

The event starts on Tuesday, June 4th.

The Summer Event will end on July 14, 2024. On that date, the sale page will no longer be visible on jhilburn.com and sale product will no longer be available.

You should contact your Clients when the Summer Event starts. The Company will send a Client marketing email announcing the event on Tuesday, June 11th. However, you can take orders beginning Tuesday, June 4th,.
